Cody woke up to more bullshit. “Gotdamnit”! He startled Chantel out of her sleep. “I can’t believe this shit man. I didn’t have a damn thing to do with that and they better run their cameras back”. He slammed his phone on the bed. “What’s wrong now?” Chantel asked with concern . “ The rental car place called saying there was extensive damages done to the rental car and they want to file the damages on my insurance. Oh hell no they won’t, I made sure there was nothing wrong with it so if someone damaged it on their property that’s their damn problem not mine. ” Chantel didn’t know what to say. She had never seen Cody upset. He had never even raised his voice in her presence. “I know I took all of you r time yesterday so if you don’t want to go with me to meet with the realtor today I understand”. Chantel got up to brush her teeth, “I can go with you for a few hours but after that I really need to go to my store and start making some progress with that so I can get a plan together and a timeline for the grand opening. I love clothes and shoes but not enough to house boxes of special orders of them. Do you want to go by the rental car place so you can see the damages and what you need to do to get things cleared up ? ” Chantel asked. ? “ I think that would be a good idea because for all I know they might be lying and trying to pull an insurance scheme themselves but not on my watch dollar they won’t !” . They both showered , Cody this time in the guest bathroom this time. . They looked like an urban power couple Cody in an all black button up and black jeans he put the boots Chantel had picked out on with it and although he looked like he was about to commit a B&E (breaking and entering) black really looked nice on his dark chocolate complexion. Chantel was looking just as nice in black skinny jeans a red long sleeved tee and black blazer with a pair of black and red Jessica Simpson wedges. They didn’t plan on coordinating but it happen ed s and neither one was pressed to change so they headed out. Cody had loaded the boxes that were downstairs in to the Acura while Chantel was getting dressed . and Chantel was in such a hurry to get down to business she never noticed the boxes were gone from her living room. When she went to unlock the doors to her favorite car she was pleasantly surprised to find all of her things loaded and ready to go. “Awww , thanks Cody” she said giving him a kiss on the cheek.
